Project description

Food & City, investigating the symbiotic relationship between the community and their food source. Using the existing "Newcastle City Farmers' Market" as an target experiment. Studying and observing the condition. There are few key issues need to be addressed, such as impermanent space allocation for stall holders, insufficient use of the greenfield, and lacking of architectural intervention on site. Playing in between the permanent and impermanent spaces to find a best prototype to allocate the farmers to adapt with climate changes and circumstances like COVID.
