The Healing Architecture is an attempt to explore the potential of nature to heal, a place to relax, re-energize and rejuvenate to help one de-stress and relax from one’s busy life in a powerful and nurturing natural setting.
The Healing Architecture is a public facility that explores the potential of nature to heal, a place to relax, re-energize and rejuvenate to help one de-stress and relax from one’s busy life in a powerful and nurturing natural setting. It aims at providing a safe and comfortable place for people to rebuild themselves. It uses natural healing remedies and holistic methods to bring back to a happy and healthy state of mind.
This thesis studies the extensive relationships that people have with their surrounding built environments, the way people physically interact with nature, but also people’s body language around variations of built environment. In order to communicate effectively nature with the users of this building, intentional intimacy is created as a part of the scheme to provide series of experiences. This project makes it easier for people to be comfortable in a home away from home, while reaching their goals of attaining a happy and healthy life.
